Ok. ty for the super fast answer. wil give it a try.
http://slimerancher.wikia.com/wiki/Extractors
You must be high. That's straight from the wiki. And the code has been data mined. Stop spreading fake information, son.
1) you are talking to one of the data miners for the wiki, the agitation page can detail a large chunk of my work.
2) that information I stated comes from the code itself, and is listed on the wiki if you care to look on the individual extractor pages.
3) heres a quote from the page you linked "It is recommended not to place down an extractor where it can produce location-based resources while aiming for rare resources, since a larger resource pool lowers the chance to obtain rare resources." Which lines up exactly with what I said.
slimerancher.wikia.com/wiki/Novice_Apiary
Now the math backing up my claim. Using the novice apiary in the moss blanket in search of royal jelly leads to a 1/191 odds. Just above 0.5% chance. But what happens in the dry reef? Its a 1/101 odds, or just below 1%. The ruins are the worst because of adding 2 extra resources, a common and uncommon which would make this a 1/201 or just below 0.5%.
