FYI GOG users paid for the game too.
More so they did it on faith, since that version doesn't have a demo.

My point is that we all paid the same amount of money for the game, we all should get the same amount of content.

Yeah well in case you haven't noticed, the game isn't a Steam exclusive. Also this DLC didn't release with the game, it was a recent release which makes locking it to Steam scummy to say the least.

well i agree that it shouldent be exlusive to steam but sadly not much we could do after all xbox and ps4 got a free exclusive so people asked for a steam exclusive i guess they just did it also no dlc for this game works on gog apperently dont know if they fixed that at some point but i agree the dlc shouldent be limited for steam players..

That's not why they did it. They made the DLC exclusive to Steam in order to bait people who bought it on GOG to buy it again on Steam. Rockstar did the same thing with GTA V, released it on the 360/PS3 first, then stopped updating it and made everybody buy it on PS4/XB1. Then when the PC version came out they released it with exclusive features to get people to buy it yet again, essentially tripleing their sales.

Trolling? I'm not sure. They certainly have the entitlement issues that the GOG community tend to have. They might just be serious haha.

Taking a more peaceful route here, given that the devs have acknowledged that it is present, there might be plans for such in the future. As for now though, quite unsure as to if there are any.

Slight note to your claims though that GOG users paid just as much for it. If the Canadian prices are any evidence, that is actually a false claim. GOG prices are higher, at least from the Canadian side of the site. (Which sets torn opinions here but there are some things I want to look into before I set a full opinion on this matter.

Wanting to be treated equally to the other customers who bough the game is entitlement?

I don't know, I have a feeling the GOG version has just become abandonware.

I know GOG prices are higher in general, I was going to point that out myself but Slime Rancher seems to be an exception. It costs €20 on both Steam and GOG, at least for me.

Also some GOG games come with rebates depending on the region, Slime Rancher doesn't.

I don't think there's some big conspiracy about buying the game twice. I just think they forgot. Optimism.

Yeah hum... What is GOG ?
I didn't download the demo, the cuteness got me to buy it lol

There is always a possibility GoG will also get its own exclusive
