How do I get out of this quicksilver place?

I ran around zapping quicksilver slimes for mochi and the timer ran down so I need to leave but I can't find a way out. I've made at least a dozen laps through this place looking for a warp exit or something and can't find anything.

Depending on the track its either a structure in the middle before a ramp and bottle neck (advanced) or a little off to the side after the section with the jump leading to the floating rocks (basic). While easy to miss at times, they do stand out once you recognize them. Usually on your left if you are following the track proper, or right if you are going around backwards
