in the end the only real way to get faster is to produce more and upgrade your gardens to produce every 12 hours. technically though planting bumps it up a couple hours for the first harvest after planting, so you can produce them faster for a cost of 10 newbucks.
I have 3 fully upgraded farms which feeds 36 largos, and that over-feeds them.
Assuming a non 30 harvest we get 26 or 28 for our harvests, can't recall which. We produce 2 harvests a day per garden and we get 3 gardens.
26x2x3 or 28x2x3
52x3 or 56x3
156 or 168
Next the largos. Largos eat 3 times a day and there are 36. 3x36 is 108.
Demand of 108 to a supply of 156 or 168.
usually 99 with 1 rotten or 100 if im quick.
