Slime Rancher VR not working, clicking "Download" just opens regular game

I had the issue, just uninstall the game, when you reinstall it, it will set it up for VR

You don't have to uninstall, just go to downloads and queue up the DLC

was having the same issues I downloaded it and couldnt find it if you right click the slime rancher name in your libary their should be a VR option there to play it.

Also make sure that you are not playing over a shared account on Steam. VR is considered DLC, and it won't run it if it's shared

i went to my slime rancher and went down to manage dlc and clicked the box that says install for the vr one and played it again and it said I could load it up in steam vr mode and oculus mode

It works for me launchig the base game from Steam VR virtual lobby instead from Steam Desktop app.
