A way to find how to get home?

I just started unlocking new paths and realized that it would be a lot easier to get lost now so is there any way to making waypoints or markers?

no but u do have a map press M

you can use echoes to form markers once you unlock the ruins, but besides that you'll need your map

the radar key is default to R. it has a small house icon pop up in the world that will guide you to your house, or the warp that brought you to the area if you're on another landmass. not entirely sure if it works in the wilds.
