I just wanted to say that like... You're 1,000 LIGHT YEARS AWAY FROM CASEY MY DUDE...
Just to give you perspective, thats basically if you were to travel away from Earth at the speed of LIGHT for 1000 YEARS.
Or another way to think of it is this: an Astronomical Unit is basically how far the Earth is from the Sun. 1 AU is around 93 million miles / 150 million kilometers. 1,000 light years is around 63,421,077 astronomical units. The end of the solar system, from the sun, is around 122 AU.
My point is that I'd say its pretty easy to forget a friend if they are in a completely different spot in the galaxy, and in a whole nother solar solar system...
I do have more of a problem with this one that you mentioned:
They could reinforce this a lot more by providing more backstory about her and her girlfriend, maybe by starting the game with some paintings depicting the departure of Beatrix from Casey. Right now, it is just a collection of some random stories thrown at you with barely giving context whatsoever.
But i was in the middle of setting up automatic plort farm and wanted to skip few days so i can unlock advanced blueprint faster but credits started. Wasn't done with the game but credits showed up anyway.
Hey, the didn't read part is on you. Secondly, the credits is supposed to be a surprise, after you read that mail. And last of all, it's literally 2 minutes... Even if you don't care, that's not too much.
Credits aren't linked to the end of the game, there's no end of the game. The credits are linked to the end of the story, which happens to be after you finished reading that mail. Don't know if you noticed, but you can still play after the credits.
