Issue With Grotto Drones
We have our Grotto set up with an advanced drone, a regular drone, a silo, a corral with Dervish slimes, and some gardens. Normally, the advanced drone gathers prickle pears froma garden in the grotto, deposits them in the Dervish slime's auto feeder, and then collects the Dervish plorts and moves them to the silo. The normal drone collects Mint Mangos from the gardens and moves them.to the silo as well.

We had amassed over a thousand Dervish Plorts in the Grotto silo and one day, when the prices were up, we decided to sell our stock. It was early and we had other things to do, so we put a market link in the Grotto in the device slot right behind the Grotto silo set the advanced drone's secondary job to take Dervish Plorts from Silo and place in Market Link, and we did the same for the regular drone's main job. We sprayed them both with eater and left.

We didn't really watch the money after that, and checking back that evening, we came to find that the drone's hadn't taken a single Plort to the market link! Both still had water and were sitting on their drone stands. We checked their jobs to make sure we had Activated the new programming, and confirmed both had the job to move Dervish plorts from Silo to Market link. We ended up having to sell as many Dervish plorts as we could before the day ended.

Has anyone else had this issue? The two drone stations were in the Grotto device slots just inside near the entrance.

Well, if it were working properly you still wouldn't have gotten the money until you went back to the grotto, because that's how drones in a different area than you work, but the handling of such drones is already famously error-prone so it probably has nothing to do with the Grotto specifically.

If the drone is not doing it's job and it has water, spray it's charging point with water that that will force it to update to it's new job

Roger that. Even while in the Grotto while we were manually selling the Dervish Plort, both drones stayed on their stands even if we sprayed them with water again. I guess it just is what it is!

Can confirm this works. The problem is usually caused when you cancel a drone's job and it starts heading back, but you go out and give it a new job and then leave. It will just land and sit there, it's always a good idea to make sure they are doing their job before you leave them.
