it has been all summer and more... its not even in beta yet... i was just wondering if someone else could create one because this is taking a long time.

Currently know of 1 that is for sure being developed (with a whole discord worth of people wanting to help test it out) and a second that is in a state of being developed but not necessarily actively. The partnered discord has more information available in its modding channel if you want more.

You do realize how much time and effort this actually takes right? And the fact those working on this are doing so with no support under the hood from the devs, while leading their own lives right?

I'll be honest here, its one thing asking about one being made, its another wanting someome else to fall into your expected time frame, which may very well be unrealistic to begin with.
