Maybe adjust the autofeeder to drop food sooner?
If your slimes have food laying in their corals uneaten and they aren't happy, I'm not sure why. I think slimes sometimes pace themselves with food. I've had slimes in the past that had fresh food in their coral but looked unhappy at me. They didn't go straight for the food. Then eventually they moved over to the food and ate it. That's my guess.
