Yeah I can believe that :)
Seriously?! UGH! I'm having so many glitches it's so annoying. I'll restart a new game probably. But I like the mute Puddle Slimes, they were cute, their purring is startling.
what you described is exactly how they work.
I guess they are shy around their own kind. I keep 4 Puddle Slimes in a pond, & they are content with that. They plort & never blush. Also they like the clucking of hen hens. You can even put one hen hen next to the pond & they'll plort more. I don't know why they like hearing hen hens, but they make more plorts so I'm not complaining :D I hope I helped.
I'll try to remember all of them. I have Rad Tabbies glitch through the ground under their corrals & were gone forever. I get stuck from time to time cause I ran thowards a corner or something, and I'm a bit stuck then my energy comes back I turn from where I'm stuck I'm able to climb down easily. lol the danger of running XD. The Moss Blanket had lost a patch of ground when I ran for the final teleporter pad, fell through the ground & got knocked out. A tarr was glitched, it was on a high platform in the Dry Reef where all the pinks, tabbies, hang out. It was a new area, cause it used to have the hardhelmet Rock slime sign in that area. That Tarr was all alone, yet the tarr music was all around me but there weren't any tarrs forming at all. When I got the lab, I got the novice pump, soon the advance exactors came out, & all novice blueprints were sold out & I wasn't able to buy them. My graphic card isn't the best, so when I'm moving it seems like everything is in slow motion especially when I'm surrounded by the large numbers of slimes or tarrs. Whenever I get to an area that doesn't have any slime or tarr spawning, the slow motion goes away. I'd think the slow motion thing is a glitch, it's probably my graphic card can't handle all the movements within this game. I've flown into pieces of walls in the game that I'd phase through & see the part it's merged with (but I never gotten stuck in those parts. Puddle Slimes are mute again, I guess is another glitch. The second Pink Gordo is a glutton I think is a glitch. Usually 38 of Pogofruit would pop a Pink Gordo, the second Pink Gordo wasn't filled after 38 Pogofruits & a load of carrots, I had to find more food to get it pop, it was annoying. I can't remember any more glitches right now, I think I named all I encountered.
Oh wow, some of those experiences are heartbreaking. :( Sorry you had to deal with that. What graphics card are you using? I'm playing on a laptop that doesn't have one (I use my CPU) and the game runs smoothly for me. Have you lowered the settings?
It's alright, it's all part of early access. it'd be strange if I never had any problems with Slime Rancher. Yeah, it's annoying having to restart from stratch because the recent file of the game glitched out :p But I deal with it. I have a computer tower, & it's custom built. I don't remember what my graphics card is, (I'm not good with checking out technology's information) but we have a new graphics card to hopefully help with the slow motion problem. We haven't put it in yet cause we've been busy. I mean we because my family to be clear. Sorry I don't know what a CPU is. Yeah, all my settings are on low for the game. The slow motion also happens when the sun raises or sets & moon raises or sets in the game. And this is the only game that I've played that does this, all the other games I've played run smoothly.
For future reference, you can check your graphics card by hitting windows + r and typing 'dxdiag' (with no apostrophes) and hitting enter. Go to the display window, and you'll see the name of your card there. Here's what it looks like on my laptop for reference.[i.imgur.com]
That being said, I don't think it's your graphics card. Make sure anti-aliasing, vsync is turned off. Also lower the resolution if you haven't already, that most likely is what's holding you back.
And also, on the topic of the CPU, the CPU is your processor. You can also see what one your computer has in the same dxdiag menu that I mentioned for your graphics card. It's in the 'system' tab next to 'processor.'
If you're still having problems, feel free to add me on Steam. I do think you should be able to run it smoothly.
All my settings in Slime Rancher are on the lowest they can be. I have no idea what anti-aliasing & vsync are. I'll ask help from my mom to make sure my processor is running the game. She understands all this computer technology talk, I don't. I'm sorry, I don't know how to adapt a computer to do things, but I know how to play games on one & be on the internet. Sorry, I didn't take a screen shot of my computer's info, I'm just too lazy right now to do that. Thanks for being so kind and thoughtful. I'll let you know if my processor makes a different in the game's ability to run at normal speed.
No it's okay, I wasn't asking for a screenshot I was just showing you where to look for your computers specs in case you need it for the future. :P You seem to know more than most people do. A lot of people don't even know how to change the settings on games to maximize their gaming experience. And seriously, it's no problem! I've noticed that you've dedicated so many hours to this game, it's awesome that you're able to look past its bugs and lag issues. Hope everything works out. :D
