I have a Lenovo laptop on Windows 10 home, with NVIDIA GTX 860M
I resolved it by opening up the config file, setting fullscreen to 0, and the game loaded, however switched itself to fullscreen after a while.
Seems buggy =) but is working for me now. Has to be done every startup.
What's the directory for the config file? Like which folders do I go through to get to it? I don't mind doing that if it's the only way to get it to work until it's patched.
I haven't tried opening any of my other games recently. I wonder if it wasn't just the Slime Rancher patch then that broke it? I only started having the issue with it after the patch.
Well... for Linux it would be...
~/.config/unity3d/Monomi Park/Slime Rancher
Windows, you could try searching for unity3d or Monomi Park. Since it's Unity, it wont be in the install directory, probably users/appdata.
okay, thank you. I'll try to find it =3
all the config file I found says in it is
{"prefs":{}}
Right click the game in steam, properties, set launch options under general...
That didn't fix it =/ all it did was make it open in windowed mode, then it switched to fullscreen, and there were still no graphics either way.
