I assume you mean there was a time when crops had to be manually resown? Thanksfully, you do not need to do this right now.
Not required. It speeds things along but the crops grow without it.
I've never grown one of those. However, I have never seen any other crops dissappear. I have several growing around my farm.
I can't recall the names, but I know at least two are "trees", and they have never dissappeared (yet!!).
This was when I didn't av a sprinkler.
Oh, it seemed to of made sense at the time.
