Crops no longer need replanting?

I've only started to play (about 10 hours in) and have never had to replant crops. It is 100% automatic. You can make it go faster with some crop upgrades.

I assume you mean there was a time when crops had to be manually resown? Thanksfully, you do not need to do this right now.

Yeah, you used to have to replant every few days or so lol

Not required. It speeds things along but the crops grow without it.

The Progofruit tree (or similar name) disappeared after so long & had to place another in the grow slot then it reappeared & started growing again. I splash it with water once a day too.

I've never grown one of those. However, I have never seen any other crops dissappear. I have several growing around my farm.

I can't recall the names, but I know at least two are "trees", and they have never dissappeared (yet!!).

You don't need to water the crops, the sprinkler just makes the fruit/veg grow faster

Sprinkling water from your vac pack has never had any affect on crops
