Accessing Older Versions

Slime Rancher has had loads of work on what it's become, and there's nothing bad to say about the added content and improved textures. But, the map is a bit of a deal breaker for me. In my opinion, the map is too large and it just doesn't have as much variance as I'd like. What I miss about the older versions is exactly that... The map. I particularly like it from around the time of the Indigo Quarry update, but favoritism isn't why I'm here. I'm here to figure out some things about playing older versions of the game. Can users play older versions of the game? If so, how? I should add that my PC doesn't have remnants of the game's older versions. Also, I recently learned about going to a game's "properties" through Steam in order to access older versions; can that be added? I'd appreciate that, if there's no other way of backtracking.

The only way you could access the older versions is if you kept them on your PC.

Yeah, that's what I thought; thanks. What I did is I played until soon aftert the Indigo Quarry update, so right before the map changed drastically. That was on an old computer, and I ended up deleting all of my Steam files on it. I built my current computer in early August, so any content on my PC is obviously too current to go back. Maybe I should just embrace the new map and keep my idea of the old one as a memory. Or, maybe the devs could have a future project be adding the support of going back.

this hasn't worked for me it keep saying the manifest thing isn't found for the download depot with the _
