Look in the in-game achivements, and find one called "never stop crafting", it should show your progress to 100

There is no way AFAIK. You just have to never stop crafting! My big tip if you purely want quantity is to craft the cheapest extractors as even though you get more per resource put into the better ones you make far less of them.

I don't think you got that they're saying "If you check the achievements, you'll find out how many you've crafted so far as long as you've crafted below 100 gadgets (IN TOTAL ACROSS SAVES)."
