Plort market
So, i feel dumb, but how do i get the prices to rise again? I've stopped selling my plorts for the moment, and the prices are barely moving at all. I'm drowning in plorts and the prices are still too low!

If you want to raise the price, sell other plorts instead of the one you want to raise.

Even still, it takes multiple ingame weeks for the prices to begin to rise, and it seems like as soon as you discover a slime, let alone sell a single plort, the price instantly halves. Haven't touched boom slimes as an experiment, their plorts are worth more than tangles, which I haven't sold any.

The plorts have a range that they can settle in.

Seem random , personay i seel mosaic/tangle/dervish when they reach atleast 120newbuch/unit.

You can use that if it can help (and also update some price if needed);

go to bed, leave pc on. it seems to take ages for prices to rise. So when you have an efficient farm, you ruint hem pretty quick. the only way is makign a lot of storage contaienrs and fill them with 1 or 2 kinds of plorts (like gathering 1k of them) and then when the price is high sell them all. and then focus on filling the storages with the next plorts. This way theres a bigger delay between all sorts of plorts compared to sumping like 100 of eahc kind of plort ruining the prices for all of them quickly.

I used that page to get an idea of prices, but just holding on to plorts won't guarantee that prices will rise. I filled my silos with plorts, and did not sell a single one for more than a week of game days. The price Slowly went up, but only to near what that page said was the top of the medium price range. I never saw any plort get close to the max price.

Then I wake up one day and every single price but one had dropped. Again, I had gone at least 7 or 8 game days without selling a plort. I still haven’t, and the price is still dropping! The only thing I did do is trade a few plots to other ranchers in exchange for goods & money. I don’t know if that has any effect or not.

The next time the prices get near the top of the “Medium” price range (according to the page listed above), I am going to empty my silos and cause a Black Friday in the Slime Rancher universe!:steamsad:
