Can't suck fruit off trees anymore?

When I first started playing I could suck full-size fruit off trees before they fell off on their own. But now I can't do so anymore—the fruit shakes and jiggles but won't tear off the tree.

What gives?

Sometimes that happens to me but I just move around a bit and it comes off.

Err, I'm still perfectly able to suck fruit off the trees, and I was just playing a few minutes ago.

Indeed, just this morning I was able to but after awhile of playing it has become no longer possible no matter how long I hold down the suction and move around. Very strange.

I'm also having this issue. I was having no problem early in the morning but as the day passed I can't get it to work consistently. Moving around doesn't help

I have the same problem and it is indeed something different from the patch notes. Sometimes I can vac them off the tree, sometimes the tree says "no ♥♥♥♥ you, wait until they fall on their own", it just had to happen during a food shortage crisis too when I was trying to work really fast to replenish my slime food dispensors after spending a long af time in the ruins. >:(

It also takes a lot longer than 2 bloody seconds. >:l

as far as my exerience goes, the time between ripe and dropping off the tree influences if you cna suck them off and how hard you have to suck on them. close to naturally dropping off makes them come off easily.

I found a way to fix it. You have to save and quit, then exit and relaunch the game. I was having the same issue, couldn't suck fruit off trees even though it worked fine before. First I tried saving then just loading my game back up. The problem was still there. You actually have to completely close the game then relaunch it and the problem is gone ^_^

I know a lot of other people have said the exact same thing I'm going to, but I have had no problem with the trees. If it for some reason does not fall off, I simply move slightly closer and that usually does the trick.

Grumpy, I've only had the problem happen once. It seems to be a pretty uncommon bug, but its common enough that multiple people have had the same thing happen. Its not player error. I tried several different things to get the fruit to come off, before I tried relaunching the game. Also, if it was player error, then relaunching the game wouldn't have fixed the issue.

Pretty sure it happens when you play for a long time in one sitting.
