How do i get hunter slimes?

Ive been searching for hunter slimes for a while but none

They are only found in the Moss Blanket and are very rare... only a handful spawn every day. It's actually easiest to go hunting for them at night; they are slightly more common then.

(I've had a lot of luck in the mushroom area past the broken bridge)

This is a screen shot from the game. I call this island Hunter Island because it's the one that has the most hunter slime spawns. You could find 2 or 3 a night on this island in the Moss Blanket. Hunter slimes have unique whoosh sound to them. Their eyes are always visible even when they go to invisible mode. They only come out at night, so around 20 hours, in game time you should check out Moss Blanket for Hunter slimes. Be careful if you spotted a hunter, yet didn't catch it. Hunters will eat plorts if they are laying around & will turn feral in their largo form. At that point, hunter largo will hunt you specifically. So be cautious if this happens. Roostros can calm hunter largos into a peaceful, normal state. Then they won't be feral, even if they get hungry, they won't go feral again. I hope I helped :D

they can be found day or night and anywhere in the moss blanket, but more commonly at night and more commonly in that area in the screenshot. though if you just want them to largo, i'd reccomend going to the feral hunter grounds immediately left after the log leading into the last area with the long body of water and getting some plorts from them.

Are you calling the moss blanket the hunter island or like a location? If it is a location can you please tell me how to get there? Thank you much persone

the moss blanket is the entire forest area. ie everything past the slime gate at the end of the docks. the hunter island is part of the moss blanket. to get to the docks, just keep following the main path until you get to the tabby area with the stoney hens up on the plateau. it'll be on the right at the end.

I usually can't find hunters so I feed them hostile largos with hunter in them and then use them plorts to make largos

The "Hunter Island" (as MavisRead call it) is in the Moss Blanket. The island has a lake and some gigant mushrooms. You need the jetpack to get there.

To find the island: You enter the Moss Blanket, turn left and go all the way straight. You should end very close to where the screenshot was taken. If you know where the Honey Gordo is, the access to the island is nearby.

On this island the Hunter slimes spawn at night (only 2-3) and they will eat a plort an become a largo as fast as they can, so you have to be quick to catch them or feed the largo to get a Hunter plort. The Hunter slimes might be invisible as well.

tbh level 1 at 100 power would've been enough lol. though it is a bit dangerous in the feral hunter grounds with such low energy.

By the way, you can access the island from different locations in the Moss Blanket, not only from the spot you see in the screenshot. You only need to explore around with the jetpack.
