Hunter Slime Help?
I got rid of my 5 rock slimes in the ranch in search of something better market-wise, headed over to the mossy jungle-like area (I couldn't remember the names to save my own life), and I can't find any? I know they become transparent, but they're not fully transparent so they shouldn't be that hard to find. I hear the H lady in the Overgrowth talk about they hang around the mushrooms, but I can't find any? I want pure Hunter Slimes, no Largos.

Usually i have to find them very quick before they become largos, or just suck up all other slimes, and their plorts
You could get one and a few of another slime, like honey, and make largos

Go to the area with the honey gordo, go to the back nd jet pak across the little strech of Slime Sea and keep going straight. there are mushrooms there and hunters well spawn there. Hope I described it well enough

They are hard to find because they only spawn in the "Hunter Island" (as some people call it), an island in the Moss Blanket with a pond and many different slimes that has huge mushrooms. You can fly over there with the jetpack from where the Honey Gordo is. This is the island:

Hunter slimes usually spawn at night.

Hunters can actually spawn anywhere in the Moss Blanket. They usually spawn at night, as said above, and they are also somewhat rare. (BTW, that H lady is actually a guy)

they do spawn anywhere in the moss blanket, but most commonly on hunter island. alternately, you can attract a hunter gordo with a roostro in a gordo snare and pop it for an easy 10 hunter slimes. if you're not having good luck with that due to not having the higher tier snares, there's a natural hunter gordo in the back of the feral hunter grounds on top of a big mushroom towards the back of the area. it takes 50 chickens to pop it, or 25 roostros if you have them. 30 or 15 if you manage to get one from a snare which i'm pretty sure is a bug atm.

I have never seen Hunter slimes outside of the "Hunter Island" (except for feral Honey Hunter Largos), that's why I said they only spawn there. I guess I must be wrong.

a few also spawn at a specific oasis in the glass desert. not sure which one though.
"H lady" That's hobson you ignorant person.

Hobson is male, not female. The lady he mentions in his notes is Thora west a.k.a the first person you get an offer from on the range exchange

By the way, if you are looking to maximize your profits it's a lot better to go with Largos. They produce 4 plorts for each favorite food they eat (2 plorts of each source slime type).

It's quite difficult to feed the Hunter Slimes with Roostros (their favorite food) all the time. You can feed them with chickens instead, but then they will give you only 1 plort per chicken. If you mix them with a fruit eater like a Honey slime it's a lot easier to feed them with their favorite food and make money (2 hunter plorts and 2 honey plorts each time they eat Mint Mangos).
