How do I catch Puddle Slimes?

I know the pond bit, but it was weird, I couldn't suck them up.. It worked when I tried again, but before, it just wouldn't get into any of my slots... odd.. Thanks, though, I probably wouldn't have tried again if you hadn't told me this simple solution :/

Kats, You may need the water vac pack upgrade or it might be a glich, I don't know.

Adam, can't help you mate. Hope someone else can, but I have no idea. Can you describe the issue in more detail?
Is it on the title page/main menu? What text? All of it? Can you simply not read the text, or does it not respond when clicked?

Kats, I just tested and you do not need any upgrade to catch a puddle slime. If you don't have anything in one of the four main slots(water slot excluded), and you can't catch a puddle slime, it's a glich in your instance. In mine I've had some problems with collision failing on various slopes. Hope this helped.

Adam sr, Try verifying game file integrety. Go to your game library, right click Slime Rancher and click properties(bottom of list), click the option for local files(3rd from left, next to updates), and choose the "verify game files" option. I have no Idea if it'll fix your problem, but it's worth a try.

Yeah, it seems to be glitchy in my game. It started with the Rock Slimes. I had to fill and empty a slot a couple times before I could vac it up and the same thing happened for the Puddle and the Crystal Slime.. I already had the water tank, so I knew that couldnt' have been the issue. Then again, empty slots should fix the issue and they didn't for me for the first 4 times I tried to vac up my desired slimes :| Well, it always worked eventually, so I won't complain too much. It's Early Access, maybe they'll still fix little glitches like that.
