I'm lost in the ruins! SOLVED
I just manage to get the ruins unlocked today, but sadly, I gotten lost. I don't know how to escape. It's pretty, but I'm paniced since it was my first time ever in the ruins. I don't wanna not myself out, I have good stuff. I was in awe of the area. kept activating buttons. Yet sadly I'm stuck on the other side of a door where the switch is on the other side. :C I don't think I can get to the switch :C I don't know what to do. I found the roof, it was pretty. But it made me more nervous because the place is massive! Can anyone help me get out please?

If you in a screenshot of my location, I can provide. I saved & quit in the ruins.

~~
Update: Good thing there's a home symbol button. It helped me get out of the ruins.

best asvice i can give is to get high up. there's big archeways on either side of the ruins. you want the one with nothing on it. the one with a starburst tree leads to a wip area- presumably the entrance to the glass desert.

I'm out of keys. I can get on the roof of the ruins. Is there a teleporter pad somewhere in the ruins?

There are no teleporters inside the ruins at all.

Aw geez, I'm screwed am I?
You should be okay if you just stay calm. Theres just about always a way to get out of where you are, espeiccially if you have the jetpack and upgraded power core. Look for some ledge or rubble patch you can jet to if you're stuck. From there try to get up higher and higher. Don't forget to rest to let your power recharge (made that mistake too many times myself). You should be able to get back if you keep calm.

I'm nervous tho. My jetpack is at 200 power. I can climb on the roof. There's paths to the roof. But I'm scared because there's no switch on the side I'm on. I wondered around and found the lava gordo, but I just wanna get home :C It's so huge, I'm confused ;n;
Don't worry about the switches. If you can get up above everything then it doesn't really matter. My advice beyond that would be to, once you're up there, pick a dirrection and go in it until you hit a wall, an edge beyond which is only slime sea, or the exit. If you can see any sign of Indigo Quarry, move in that dirrection. Remember you had to come in through either the quarry or the mossy blanket so if you move towards where those areas are on the horrizon (when you get up above the main part of the ruins) then you're moving toward the exit!

I'll try my best. I wasn't expecting the ruins to be so large.

I got lost in the the first few times as well but eventually you get used to them. They're about as big as any other area but its more compact so its harder to get your bearings. I mostly try to stick to the 'roof' area so I have a better line of sight of where I'm going and where I've been. Hope you got back to your ranch okay!
