How place a Drill?

I have fabricated 2 drills but WHERE and HOW do i place them?
Please help

Press T to open build mode, then you should see a blue glowing spot on the ground where you can place something. Walk up to it, press E to open the menu. Then find the drills in the extractor tab on the menu. Then choose the drill and click install. Then press T again to leave build mode.

How i upgrade treasure crackers? Place more drills or let one drill mine for many days?

Placing more drills works better, since the drills do eventually run out of juice and dissapear. The more extractors you have, the faster you can unlock the upgrades for the treasure cracker.

Another tip you might like to know, different extractors will give you different loot depending on where you place them. That's usually how you get rare resources. Drills should go in the indigo quarry, pumps in the dry reef, and apiarys in the moss blanket. Hopefully that helps! :D
