Quick question about Gordo Snares

I remember reading in the Slimepedia that Gordo Slimes are made of multiple slimes, and they seem to break into ~10 when burst. Do you still need 10 of a slime type on a Gordo Snare to obtain a Gordo, or is it just one slime needed?

You don't need any slimes at all. Just bait it with thier preferred food and wait a day. :)

I tried that though with a Phase Lemon on my ranch - it took almost three real-time days and all I got was a Pink Gordo :(

they are probably going to be in the advanced snare

Novice snares have a 70% chance of spawning pink gordos, but thankfully you don't have to wait as long as you did for that particular gordo. Just bait your snare and sleep in game. A gordo will appear in the morning!

I just tried that and it worked, thank you very much! I didn't realize sleeping helped it.

While you can bait it with there favored food but you still run a chance of getting one your not looking for. I've baited a Gordo snare three times with Heart beets aiming for a rock Gordo and got a rad.Keep in mind all bait runs the chance of snaring a pink gordo so i would set a few out and bait them all the same in hopes of getting the one you want.Fun part is you can pop the others your do not want and get the boxes that come from them.You get three boxes for each pop so it's a good way to build.I have even gotten Royal jelly this way.I've thought of setting the snare out in the wild just for that purpose of poping them.

It depends some times it's only one in game day sometimes longer Pink slime eat any thing so you always run a chance of getting a pink Gordo.If thats not the one you want pop you get the Resorces none the less so all in all not a full lose.
