How do you guys play multiplayer?

A friend and I picked this up and the sequel back before it was delisted but have never been able to get the multiplayer working reliably.

We've once again circled back to it and are trying to figure it out. From what I remember (I could definitely be wrong though so let me know!) the game uses remote play to simulate couch coop? Is there a way we can get around this for a more stable situation?

Game Ranger or Hamachi maybe? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have never tried this or the sequel online. But i know this program called ”Parsec”, it basically makes it so you can play couch co-op games online, like the Lego games. You can try that, but i can’t guarantee it will work, but Parsec should work with any game that has a local co-op mode.
