Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 Missing Characters?

So I noticed a lot of mainstays from both games are missing. Most notably Fantastic 4, Deadpool, Captain Marvel, Black Panther (yes I know he was DLC in 2 but still counts as a mainstay). Defenders(Luke Cage and Daredevil); Iceman and storm.

Granted that one splash screen couldn't fit everybody there, but usually the base roster for both games is 24 characters at max. We have 18 chracters; (unless partners are a things like Rocket and Groot). That means we have might have 6 characters yet to be in the game. Most likely the X-men and Inhumans will fill the remaining spots with at least few characters that still missing from the roster.

What I find funny is that Kingpin is in the game but Daredevil isn't. I mean I know Spidey has beef with Kingpin but its mostly Daredevil that is his arch-nemesis.

FF not being in the game might be due to development time being during when Fox wasn't playing ball with Marvel aka the disastrous FF movie.

Deadpool, I don't know why he isn't here either as well as the X-men Mainstays

With the Captain Marvel movie on the way, why isn't she here? Probably will be a promotion tie-in when movie comes out.

So what are the chances that some of these characters might make it in and is there anyone that wasn't a mainstay that you would like to make it in?

They definately have not announced all the characters. The Fantastic Four will definately be in it, Deadpool will most likely be in it cause of the movies alone. A ton more X-Men will be in it. Its just an announcement trailer. When MUA2 came out, they prolonged announcing characters for months.

Because of all that licensing nonsense I'd be surprised to see any X-Men other than Wolverine. I'm also nearly certain you're not going to see the Fantastic Four or Silver Surfer, who Marvel has pretty much abandoned.

What Saelune is forgetting is the disaster that is Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.. the game with no Fantastic Four, Dr Doom, Super Skrull, Daredevil, Sentinel, Magneto or even Wolverine.

(The only characters in that disaster game not in the MCU are Venom, Nova and Ghost Rider)

MvC isnt the same as MUA though. They dont have to leave room for Capcom characters, so with more limited spots, they have to stick to what is super current.

Infact, MvC has never had Fantastic Four characters ever to begin with.
