Does online coop work?

This question goes for both MUA games; only found one review that makes any mention of said feature and it claims it doesn't work.
On top of the gamepad woes, graphical configuration problems and some mislabeled files that result in missing character dialogues, does online coop work at all?

Yes it does. Played with a friend for 6 hours yesterday on 1.

I am having issues finding my friend. We both have the game running and we are on each other's friends list but when I try to invite him it says no friends found.

Never mind figured it out. For some reason Steam kept running in offline mode on my friends computer.

I always get random disconnects with my friend. You can't rejoin a game in progress, so it's pretty pointless.
