marvel ultimate alliance worth buying?

what im really looking for is spiderman games but this is as close as i can get to that. is this game any good its mixed reviews and heard it crashes alot?

Currently, MUA1’s gameplay content inclusions & errors/“glitches” still the same in Gold Edition state as of the second patch, but with yet another UI errors (like setting certain modified key buttons on certain function during keyboard config) & missing other UI settings from OR MUA1 PCZ (in-game controller config, advance lighting & shadows) that hasn’t been updated from the first patch, since it’s mostly lazy copy paste from 360 & there hasn’t been a news on 3rd patch fixes for a year (including missing PSP/unused Wii exclusive contents ported from Wii ver.). Example: The DLC Map Package (PKGB) file name location of Dr. Doom’s special dialogue w/ Ymir still mis-named as “niffleheim2_dlc” instead of “niffleheim2b_dlc” (located on zip/mua_dlc.zip/packages/dlc/maps/act3/niffleheim. post-Bin extraction tutorials only)

Yet, it’s worth to buy since some of the modding systems & compatibilities still remained as OR MUA1 PC, & can fix on our own, should Activision & Marvel takes too long to release the 3rd patch or somehow removed the game bundle & leave the games in 85% playable. It’s best for you to buy the bundle before this game somehow removed like Deadpool & Spidey Shattered Dimensions.

Before you play this game, makes sure to check & have: redistributeable (for 7 user, I think I recall to have 2010 ver. installed), net.framework & Windows Update.

Currently, if you use non-Steam Controllers, try setting the Global Settings. It may s not work on the first, but will work on a second try if re-setting the Global Setting & Zoe Mode’s Recommended Control schemes second times

Well, me and my friend bought the game last weekend and it worked perfectly, we didn't need any patches or fixes

The only problem I have had is that the settings screen is pretty buggy so I had to edit the graphics_options.xml file instead. Other than that it has been working fine for me.

Yeah it runs fine on most pc's, as long as you use a wired 360 controller... without modding the game, other controllers and m&k CAN cause some issues.
