[Fixes and everything] How to run WBC series stably on modern setups AND use official patch 1.03 or unofficial 1.3.25 AND playing mods

As i have been playing this game for a very long time and figured most of it problems, so sharing the fixes here for everyone.

All reviewers are urged to follow these things mentioned here to have stable gameplay and give it second chance. For those who have resolution need try the second mod mentioned below.

For Fixes of any kind
First link is to the guide for playing the game stably. If you are experiencing low fps, graphical problems, invisible troops problem, game crashing, etc. This has been updated too 29-July-2017

For getting to version 1.03 and to get ironman working again
Second link is for official patch files and exe of 1.03, this new method will work even if you are between 1.03 and 1.3.25 or you think your game got corrupted between old method i wrote.
Due to changes done with version 1.3.24 and 1.3.25 there comes few problems and to avoid those we need to do following to be able to play 1.03 properly. Use third link and download patch for 1.00 vserion to 1.03 version apply this patch, after applying this patch use Second link and download "patchdata.xcr and game.txt" and now look for a post after discussions for ironman mode fix and download the fixed game exe now "battlecry iiib.exe and folder named assests".
Where to put second link filesFor those that don't know where the files go short tutorial: PatchData.xcr this file goes directly to main game directory where the "warlords battlecry iii/PatchData.xcr" file is. Second file is Game.txt this file goes to another directory "warlords battlecry iii/english/game.txt". . This exe is "battlecry iiib.exe" which you can either play manually or stop steam auto updating this game, change original exe to something else like "battlecry iiiunofficial.exe" and change "battlecry iiib.exe" to "battlecry iii.exe" this way steam will play this exe. Thus rendering the game to vanilla version patched state.

For getting to version 1.3.25
Third link is for those who want proper 1.3.25 unofficial patch (Or any other patch for that matter) not broken unofficial patch 1.3.24 Retroism launched here. Version 1.3.24 have vampirism broken and many other things broken too. Patch 1.3.25 have around 5 known broken things too but not game breaking like 1.3.24 is. Oh and 1.3.25 don't have that your buildings are being converted message either. You need to make game update to version 1.3.21 or above to be able to apply 1.3.25 properly if you are at 1.3 then just simply update to above version.

MODs

First one provide new units and races and some fixes. Plus the return of the boats.

Second one provides many changes to the original and brings together most features from WBC1,2 and 3 combined and still combining. And not only combing but making it to be better than before. Also many improvements like 1920x1080 resolution, better ai and many other things are there so give every mod chance after you have given this game a chance to shine.

I know Is there any way to downgrade it to 1.00 so i can proberbly upgrade it to 1.02 so i can play it with german voicelines and wbc2 music ? I know this is kinda offtopic but im at the and of my wisdom

The 3rd link in there gives you patch data files for version 1 so go ahead and play version 1. MP will not fun because you all must have same version for it.

I never bought the CD direct download for me. I bought WBC 1 and 2 CD.

if i got this all right, i need to update my wbc3 to v1.03, then update it to 1.03.21 (since that 2nd patch is for any version appearently) and then i can apply 1.03.25, right?
is there any chance to use these patches on the original german version of the game? on patches-scroll i cant find any german language 1.03 patch, but all other patches above 1.03 are tagged as "worldwide language". somehow that makes no sense for me..
anyone who knows more about how to patch the german version can explain me?

You guessed right. The German version ends with the official version. Thats why i wanted to go back.

End of Official version I believe is 1.03.

unfortunately i cant find any german 1.03 patch so i think its as rammer xxl says, that ithe german wbc3 ends with 1.02. if you found a valid german 1.03 patch anywhere, i would be happy if you could show me.

I will ask around. But it is going to be very difficult to find language based patches..

appearently its really only 1.03 missing. since on patches-scrolls website all other patches above are tagged as "worldwide" so i assume they should be compatible with all versions. but below these versions, 1.02 and 1.03 are seperately for each language and its the german one which is missing for version 1.03. unless i misunderstood something about that "worldwide" tag, this makes no sense to me.

I just went to same sites that you have. Also went to few shadier sites and none of them have german patches past 1.02 at all. I guess you have only 1.03 international release and it is english release to my knowledge.
