Hey, this is usually caused by antivirus applications blocking Wallpaper Engine.

Please configure any antivirus app (excluding Windows Defender) to ignore the wallpaper_engine directory and then
verify the Wallpaper Engine files through Steam as described here:

What crash message are you getting? Check your wallpaper_engine and wallpaper_engine/bin directory for .mdmp files, these contain technical infos about crashes, if you upload those somewhere or email

Couldn't find a fix online, tried restarting and validating files.
