Black and Yellow Checkerboard in place of image assets

Hey so I just reinstalled wallpaper engine on my pc after resetting it, transferred the wallpaper engine files back into the fresh install, and now all of my created wallpapers have asset errors where they either dont show up at all or have a black and yellow checkerboard in place of them. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
