Why does the program need access to my MICROPHONE??? HOW TO DISABLE THIS ACCESS THROUGH THE APP SETTINGS?????!

The app does not need access to your microphone. For wallpapers featuring audio visualizers, you can select an audio input device. Usually this would be the audio that is playing on your computer. If you set this to your microphone, then the audio visualizers will react to the audio recorded on your microphone. You can change this by changing the audio input device in the "General" tab of the Wallpaper Engine settings.

Either way, the audio is never sent anywhere, it's sliced into different frequencies and wallpapers are provided will volume levels for different frequency ranges. This is how wallpapers like this one work (just a random example, there are thousands like this):
