iCUE 4 Lighting problems RESOLVED with Wallpaper Engine Public Beta version
Problems began when I upgraded to iCUE4. Now with this update everything is back in sync between Wallpaper Engine and Corsair RGB. LOOKS SO COOL - need I say more?

Thanks for the heads-up, I will keep it in mind if any other users have similar issues.

Since this posting I did notice my mouse, a Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro (wireless) is completely dark when Wallpaper Engine is running. Not a big deal but I guess I have to say not 100% of my Corsair RBG is working.

The best thing you can do in these cases is to reach out to Corsair directly, via their support or their forums, they tend to track these problems from there. I also sent them an email and asked if we needed to do anything from our end to improve the experience on version 4 but have not received a reply so far.

Yeah it's not lighting all my RGB lights either; led strip, one ram stick, and mouse.

Tim, you might remember me from another thread. I'm now experiencing this too.

We're currently looking into this with Corsair / provided more technical details to their development team. We're not sure yet if a fix will come from our end or their end but rest assured it's being worked on.

Tim - thank you for the update. Looking forward to being able to enjoy Wallpaper Engine again once fixed!

Worth taking a look at https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=205704. Looks to be an issue on their end that they are now looking into.

We have updated the iCUE implementation on the beta but we don't know yet if that will actually make a difference. If you are having issues with the latest versions of iCUE; please do try the beta and report back:

I was having the same issue after updating ICue.
The only thing that was lighting up was my AIO cooling unit, everything else was dark, and I was frustrated trying everything I could think of.

I CAN REPORT THAT THE BETA UPDATE FIXED MY ISSUE!!!

That was quick, it worked- and I thank you!!!

Thanks, make sure the problem stays resolved even after system restarts, I believe at least a part of affected users had this issue only at boot.

Yup- tested rebooting, locking and logging back in and exiting the software and restarting.
I can't seem to break it, so it appears at least for me the issue is resolved!

Beta is working and iCUE RGB lighting is functioning again with Wallpaper Engine. I tested with a reboot after the beta update and all is good. I will give it the "one day test" tomorrow and will update my original post if everything seems fixed. Thank you so much!
