If you had crashes then the crash message should point to an .mdmp file. Please share that file with us as well by sending it to logs@wallpapernengine.io together with the log text from the guide, thanks.
There was a typo above.
You have graphics driver crashes, I know that you said you don't notice issues in games, but your graphics driver can only crash due to a fundamental problem and not due to a program like Wallpaper Engine. It seems FireFox is also crashing sometimes and there is an application using QT which also crashes.
It seems there is a hook from the driver running so perhaps this hook is doing something improperly. As a first step try to reinstall your graphics driver with clean settings and ensure that all questionable hooks of the driver are disabled, for example look for AMD ReLive and AMD Anti-lag in the graphics driver settings and ensure they are turned off for now.
It also looks like you are trying to open a .pkg file in the editor, this is not possible. Have you downloaded a wallpaper that you are trying to edit?
If I am enjoying 'Overwatch' or 'World of Warcraft', symptoms will occur after about 30 minutes.
Even though the M/B BIOS was updated, the problem still occurred.
The problem has not occurred since I finally deleted the wallpaper engine.
I like this program quite a bit, but it doesn't seem to fit me in terms of system stability.
AMD 5600X
VEGA 64
DDR4 3600
Wallpaper Engine itself is not a driver or system component, meaning it cannot crash any computer due to a bug or anything we could change about it. But if something is unstable that Wallpaper Engine simply needs in order to run, then of course there can be problems. Most of the time the graphics card or driver is the issue.
Using the "stop" option is the easiest workaround since expecting AMD or Nvidia to provide 100% stable drivers is unlikely and having Wallpaper Engine stop automatically is a simple solution to avoid straining the graphics driver too much.
If you still have problems, please share this log with us and perhaps we will see something there: https://help.wallpaperengine.io/en/debug/scantool.html Also you can use the Windows Event viewer to see the source of the issue (most likely the graphics driver).
