How to download wallpapers without signing in?
I have installed Wallpaper Engine on my work computer without installing and signing in to Steam by copying the files from my installation on my home PC. I understand the workshop isn't accessible within the application when Steam isn't installed/signed in, but I am wondering if it is possible to download from the workshop through the browser?

I don't want to install Steam and sign in to my account on my work PC, so currently I have simply copied the wallpaper files manually between my home PC to my work PC, but I would like to be able to download wallpapers without having to leave my home PC on in order to remote into it to subscribe and transfer files.

Signing in to my account on my work PC via browser is fine, so if there's a method that requires that, please let me know. Thank you!

Unfortunately that is not possible, the Workshop files can only be downloaded when Steam is running and logged into an account that owns the app. We added the manual backup functionality that you also described as a way around that but that's pretty much all that is possible I am afraid.

That's unfortunate to hear. I was hoping there was some sort of wallpaper archive somewhere on the web.

Thanks a lot for your response! I'm always impressed at the responsiveness from devs this program has.
