Wallpaper Engine
Control Asus Aura SDK with Wallpaper Engine
Hi,
i recently stumbled upon the Asus Aura SDK and was wondering if there is a way to bring these two apps together.

To be more specific:
I want my RGB Lighting to adapt to the colors of the current Wallpaper (especially when it´s a dynamic wallpaper with changing colors).

I´ve also heard about the Wallpaper Engine CLI, but couldn´t find any command(s) that would help with this.

Any hints or help would be appreciated :)

Support for LED currently is ICUE and Razer Chroma.
If either of those are able to control your LEDs, WPE might work with it. Sometimes they have plugins to make it work with such devices. However Asus Aura is not officially supported.

Thanks for the suggestion, seems like i will be able to make use of iCue since Corsair and Asus teamed up. So i am going to try just that.

Did it ever end up working?

To be honest, I dropped that idea soon after. I got to a point where writing my own helper application would be the best solution. Wasn't too eager to put the time in, maybe you are :)
Thanks for the suggestion.
Hier draußen warten sehr viele menschen genau auf eine solche anwendung asus ist häufig in anwendung und sollte auch über eine plugin ansteuerbar WERDEN siehe SignalRGB...

apparently you can now use Corsair iCue to control your Asus Motherboard LEDs (found here[help.corsair.com]

which means that if you enable the iCue plugin in Wallpaper Engine, you may be able to control some leds. Haven´t tested it tho so it might not work that well after all.

I know. I have lot of Corsair stuff. But - iCue control only mother board and GPU. Nothing connected to ARGB ports. So its not a solution.

you might want to have a look at this thread[www.leipold.zone] (it´s in german). Here a guy describes how he uses Chroma Control[chromacontrol.github.io] as an interface between Razor Synapse, Asus Armoury Crate and Corsair iCue.
I saw this. But its too much for backgroud running apps. :)
