blank screen after unistall

so i wanted my desktop wallpaper back , judy from cyberpunk . eveytime i started my pc back up wallpaper engine took over again. so i uninstalled wallpaper engine from steam and removed all content from my files. now all i have is a white blank screen as a back ground. i right click go to personalize and it shows my background is the picture ive selected but when i close the page a return to desktop its just blank white. before i downloaded wallpaper engine i never had any issues changing wallpapers . any help would be lovely

Are you sure the actual wallpaper image file is still at the same path that Windows will try to load? The preview in Windows may be cached.

Wallpaper Engine does not modify the actual system wallpaper and it is only installed in Steam, not anywhere else, so if you fully deleted that folder then it can't be running or changing anything anymore (but check for wallpaper32.exe in the task manager, maybe you had it installed twice?).
