Open iCUE.
Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
Click Software and Games on the left menu of the settings window.
Make sure that the software integrations options are enabled. Check the Devices tab to make sure all your hardware devices are also enabled for this type of RGB lighting.
If you still have issues with your Corsair lighting setup, try a full reinstallation of your Corsair iCUE software, then restart your computer and reinstall. Many issues can be resolved by reinstalling the Corsair software suite, followed by manually enabling the software integration options.
Walpaper engine works fine with razer synapse but not icue.
I currently have icue, razer synapse, nanoleaf desktop, and wallpaper engine running.
If this is not the reason, then something must be up with iCUE, since the LED colors are correctly sent to the Chroma SDK like you said.
Have you found the integration options in iCUE and enabled them and restarted? Does iCUE show Wallpaper Engine now in that list?
Under settings>software and games> enable software integrations and enable game integrations are enabled. I see both wallpaper32.exe and streamdeck.exe there.
When i choose a wallpaper in wallpaper engine the access in ICUE for wallpaper engine changes from shared to exclusive and instead of rgb data transferring to ICUE, it shuts off all of the lighting.
Thank you for the help.
Can you please disable all other external plugins and other programs and restart everything again? I.e. if you have any GPU or RAM plugins in iCUE try to disable them and also try to disable streamdeck in the integration list.
Of course this is not a solution, but if the source of the issue can be found, this could be posted on Corsairs forums and they can look into it more effectively.
Still have no clue on what is causing the problem. It's been like this for months now.
In general Wallpaper Engine doesn't make any difference about what iCUE version is installed and doesn't know about this. We are also still using the latest SDK, they haven't released any updates to it that we are missing.
If iCUE 4 causes this problem so reproducibly for you, I think your best bet is to contact Corsair directly i.e. over the forums: https://forum.corsair.com/forums/forum/155-icue-software/ they have helped often in the past. Make sure to explain that iCUE 4 has started to cause this issue and let them know what you have tried, perhaps also let them know which exact Corsair peripherals you are using.
