Is it safe to download unapproved/not approved wallpapers?
I'm new on it.

Yes, approval is mostly a mix of quality and performance and only covers wallpapers that we have manually reviewed. This does not mean other wallpapers are bad or harmful, it's just not reasonable for us to go through hundreds of thousands of uploads.

Generally anything that isn't an Application wallpaper is safe. The program will even warn you of the risks before you apply an Application wallpaper to your desktop.

But is there any chance of getting a virus (or something like that) after downloading any of the many wallpapers that are on the wallpaper engine?
