search filter not working anymore

you guys kind of messed up the search filter. now it just ignores my filter and chooses whatever it wants. little frustrating

Hey, it seems to work fine for me, it could have been a temporary server issue. If the problem still exists, could you let me know which filter is not working for you?

The TAGS filters on the workshop does not work properly. (for example Pixel Art)

It works fine for me I am afraid, could you take one (or more) screenshots of your filter settings and share them via www.imgur.com. Try to open up all filters so that the complete search filters are visible.

checked again this morning, it appears to be working as intended now! Thanks for the quick reply. I guess you were right about it being a temporary server issue

My filters stopped working a few days ago and they still don't work. Only the age rating filters work for me now. But when it comes to tags and resolution, it doesn't matter what filters I pick, I always get shown the same wallpapers. I think they just don't filter anything.

It still seems to be working for me right now. It's still a Steam function in the end and even though highly unlikely, you might be connected to a different server that simply doesn't work right now and will work again later after Valve fixed it.

Concerning Wallpaper Engine you can use the reset filters button to make sure that the filters aren't broken right "in" the program.

I am necroing this thread and no one can stop me. But I am amazed that this worked. For the longest time I thought it was a bug that wasn't being fixed and I couldn't be bothered to try to figure out how to fix it until today. Normally doing searches and trying the fixes seems to never fix my problems but I'll be damned if this not only fixed it but surprised the hell out of me for working. I tip my hat to you devs.
