Wallpaper Engine - Too Many Wallpapers In The Playlist To Display
I'm assuming theres a limit to how many wallpapers you can have in your list at the bottom?

Yes, it's 1000. Previously there was no limit but since a lot of wallpapers started using GIF previews, this would just completely kill the performance of the user interface. If you want to make changes to the order of that playlist you would need to directly change the config.json file in the wallpaper_engine directory (while the app is turned off).

The config contains "blocks" for each of your playlists that look like this, including the full path to the wallpapers in order:

"playlist" : { "items" : [ "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/431960/123456789/scene.pkg", "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/431960/123456789/scene.pkg", "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/431960/123456789/scene.pkg" ], "name" : "", "settings" : { "clock" : "clock24", "delay" : 60, "mode" : "timer", "order" : "random", "transition" : false, "updateonpause" : false, "videosequence" : false } } }

But this wont allow me to increase the limit?

Oh okay, you just want to add more things to it. Yes it would allow you to do that but that's tedious. You can have an infinitely large list, you actually don't need to see it. Just right-click on a wallpaper and then "Add to playlist". This should increase the playlist size but you just can't see the result in Wallpaper Engine itself.
