Wallpaper engine not working

When I launched wallpaper engine it works fine but when I try select a wallpaper it doesn't show up on my screen and when i press OK to confirm the wallpaper it doesn't apply, it just turns off wallpaper engine and nothing happens. How do I fix this?

Same stuff, i can only change my wallpaper through taskbar> show hidden icons> wallpaper engine> recent wallpapers. But i can only use recent wallpapers i cant use any new ones, and i've tried by uninstalling and everything.

so are they just trynna say that we cant use wallpaper engine on insider versions of windows? i've been using it fine before.

I'm going to bet all of us that can't get it to work are part of the Insider program (WHICH I OPTED OUT OF 6 MONTHS AGO AND THERE'S STILL NO MAJOR UPDATE TO GET RID OF IT...yes, I can reinstall Windows but I'm lazy and don't want to lol).

It was working perfectly fine until I got the latest update and now it's borked

So... I checked one thing. As I see you can't leave canary channel. Only unenroll by yourself.... That's sucks lol, I don't want to clean install all pc lol. Devs, please stop that ♥♥♥♥ and add support for Insiders too, that's not cool at all bruh.

So...I don't blame them for that. The updates change Windows things so often in Insider it's got to be a pain in the ass to keep up with. It's a lot of work for a small fraction of the user base that were dumb enough to join it.

I dunno how many times it's just randomly broken things for a few days... My sound card still doesn't show up. I can't wait to be rid of it tbh

Yep, I had to use Canary version to get my VR set working for a bit and now can't go back without a clean install, so guess who is reinstalling windows on christmas
