wallpaer engine wont work on windows 11

Hi im curious up until a week ago WE was working fine and now its not. I can hear the background music to wallpapers that have but the actuall wallpaper is a no show. iIs saying its active in my system just no wallpaper of any kind will run am i doing something wrong?

Same here, no wallpaper showing. I have Windows 11 insider preview.

Few weeks ago there was a problem related to HDR, now it seems to be a different problerm.

I`m having a similar issue, It just started a couple of days ago. The wallpaper works when windows starts up but if I play a game it stops working. Even if I restart wallpaper engine the wallpaper doesn`t show.

Ok, i have just had the same issues as above where the audio plays but you get NO wallpaper. "My" solution was to just update the graphics driver. The wallpapers are now back to normal. I was using Nvidia Game Ready Driver v.528.24 (NO GOOD), the latest works perfectly.......Just my two cents.
