However: when you open an external application as a wallpaper, I inject a DLL so that I can set it up as a wallpaper. I am only using documented Windows functions though and I am not messing with any graphical aspects or directx - which is usually what triggers anti cheats (for example when you use ENB or so).
So if you only use wallpapers from the workshop or create your own there is nothing to worry about.
I have also tested all my files at virustotal.com from time to time and only got the occasional false positive based on heuristics, so I think my files should not trigger anything.
