Could you tell me which graphics card you are using?
Also if possible, could you look into the directory of the application (Steam\steamapps\common\wallpaper_engine) and see if it created any file that ends with the extension .mdmp? If you could send me that file, it should help me figuring out what's wrong.
Same situation every time :(
Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Advanced system settings (on left side) -> Advanced (the tab at top) -> Click Settings under "Performance" -> Checkmark "Enable controls and elements inside windows" -> Hit Apply, Hit OK -> Sign Out of PC -> Relaunch Program
That message box was basically meant to let you approve of this change, since I did not want to silently change Windows stuff right now in my code. But my recent changes kinda messed the message box up and made it pop up multiple times, it went unnoticed.
I just pushed another update to the beta branch ( http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/350544272219415004/ ) which should now just adjust this setting without a message box in case it is not set.
What is the error/issue exactly? It is not related to Windows 10 itself but likely due to a faulty installation or a conflict.
mine just won't let me open it at all it will come up withh the program not responding
Could you switch to the beta: http://steamcommunity.com/app/431960/discussions/2/350544272219415004/
And then upload the bin/log.txt to www.pastebin.com ? I don't know yet why the freezing happens for some people, but it seems the reports of this issue popped up from one day to another, maybe it is related to the Creator's Update.
im not too sure if this is the right thing but here you go ^_^ https://pastebin.com/rtABMxVd btw really like the program so far keep up the good work
