Report a translation problem
If you have already renamed / moved / deleted the files, you often can fix Steam by validating the Wallpaper Engine files through Steam which will make Steam repair itself:

Thank you, I thought I deleted that comment when I realized I could just copy the files. I didn't rename or move anything, so we're all good.
Oh, since your a dev, can you tell me what's up with the DXS file extensions? I've never seen those before. When combing through, some of the wallpapers had mp4's I could use, but a lot of them only offered their preview images/gifs despite having more image options in the actual wallpaper engine that I can't find within the workshop folder
Scene wallpapers are basically more like levels in a video game. They are created with our editor and they are rendered in real-time, they are not videos that loop which is why you also cannot export them as a video (it would be like asking to export a video game as a movie, it just does not work that way).
