Any way to add this App to a 4k Smart TV?
We have big parties in the small mansion and each party floor (4 floors) has 4k/8k Smart TV's almost in each room and would be awesome to play the musical screen savers and add our own music to the live wallpapers to all the TV's or separate for each room. There is a few privet clubs I go to set up displays and I would love to have this app to all the screens installed to the local network or account to have a fav list or mix and plays over in a random order would also be awesome too.:grwheart:

Well, as long as you can somehow hook up a TV to a PC or stream your computer, it's really not any different from adding another screen. If you are thinking about this being a native Smart TV app for one of the bigger vendors like Samsung, then no, this is not possible. The closest I can suggest is to use Steam In-Home streaming.

Seeing how you can add a youtube channel to a smart device, to watch or stream anything by searching inside the channel, you would think you could do the same way as this program making a channel to select which wallpaper you like. Can you explain why this would not work?

YouTube is an online service with a multi-billion dollar company behind it, so not only do they have the manpower and incentive to create an application for your specific smart TV (you can't just throw Windows code onto your smart TV) which then connects to their servers and streams videos. And this is possible because modern smart TVs have special chips to decode HD videos in real-time.

Wallpaper Engine uses your computer's graphics card to render live backgrounds to a Windows desktop. It's not even comparable from a technological point of view, smart TVs are not capable of doing that. And that's setting aside the fact that the idea is very niche and would require a ton of work because it would require us to create applications for all types of smart TVs out there which is nothing you "just do".

Can a Wallpaper Engine app be made for things like the Amazon Fire TV Cube or the Apple TV? The app can consist of wallpapers that will run etc. Just a thought. I'm sure it's been asked before.

No, there are currently no plans to adopt specific smart TVs or TV dongle platforms.
