Screensaver Blank.

Upon using Wallpaper engine, my wallpaper runs just fine. When applying a screen saver that is the proper resolution to my computer, it does not load when the computer screen sleeps. I have allowed the computer to sleep in all power setting instances, and the screen saver appears in the screensaver settings too! So i am able to visually see it in the mock windows computer screen, but it does not want to apply when the computer actually sleeps. I set all settings to allow the computer to sleep after one minute so there are no time differences, so i happen to be at a loss. With my normal wallpaper running fine, i find it very hard to imagine there is something else to download in order for it to properly work. Perhaps this issue is more common than i think. Thoughts?

Are you saying your Windows screensaver never activates or are you saying that it does activate but the screen stays black? It's not entirely clear to me from your post.

I am assuming when the screen turns black, it is technically activating the screensaver but it just will not show up. However something interesting did occur after making this post: My game of Modern Warfare crashed, thus freezing the screen where it crashed. When this happened, after a minute of inactivity (what i set the timer for my screen saver) it actually worked and popped up, not sure if it being an animated screen saver makes a difference. When my game screen froze, i attempted to close it out and tried my task manager but no luck. I feel as the crashed screen served as priority display over running PC operations (like google chrome, my task manager and whatnot; it pulled up, i just couldn't see it behind the frozen screen. I was able to click on my tool bar though). Hope this explains something? lol

Are you sure that you don't have the "turn screen after X minutes off" option in Windows enabled as well, so that it just turns off the screen before showing the screensaver?

If you are sure that that isn't it, does the screensaver work if you use the preview option in the Windows screensaver settings and does it work in the small preview monitor at the top of the Windows screensaver settings? It's supposed to show up there too.

Something like that is possible but we also couldn't do much more than guessing here.

hello, I also have a problem with the screensaver, when I activate it and put wallpaper engine it doesn't work or I get a black screen instead of an image

I set in screensaver wallpaper engine , wait for a 5 min and is black image not wallpapers , why ?
