I added webwallpaper32.exe, wallpaper32.exe, wallpaper64.exe and wallpaperservice32_c.exe (i saw this one in the task manager), some wallpapers are still triggering that NVIDIA GPU notifier.
I tested switching all programs to use intel GPU and it worked, so isnt a bug on the GPU control i guess.
Any other thing i can try?
Wallpaper Engine is not aware of which GPU it's using, it's just what Windows assigned to it.
Maybe you are also talking about the UI process which is only started while you are actively browsing and choosing wallpapers, which is ui32.exe. In any case, please check in the task manager which process is supposedly using the Nvidia GPU.
Sorry for taking long to reply, i wanted to check a few other things.
So, i checked the task manager using the wallpaper that trigger NVIDIA GPU and the ones not triggering, they all show GPU 0, that is my intel UHD, BUT, when using the ones that trigger the NVIDIA notifier, the dwm.exe sometimes jump to GPU 1, thats weird because it has nothing much to do with it, and in NVIDIA panel its pointed to intel GPU without the ability to change it, and that make sense for the desktop window manager.
Ill keep doing some experiments on my end, thanks a lot for the help!
Yeah, it make sense, these things are having a weird behavior, but i wont bother you guys much with it, it may be some error in my end, ill keep doing experiment and will post the results later, so i could help someone else in the same situation. :D
