Dual monitors with different resolutions and the fill option

I have both monitors displaying the same image and using the fill option. The image is only scaled properly to the higher resolution monitor and cropped on the smaller resolution monitor.

Is there a solution to have it scale properly to both monitors?

Your screens probably have a different size / aspect ratio so that it's not possible to show the exact same thing on both screens. You could assign the same wallpaper to both screens independently and then set the "alignment" option on the right-hand side to "Free" and adjust the alignment on both screens to your liking.
