Razer Chroma Stuttering

Ive been sending logs to razer for months and they finally found a strange cause for the stuttering of effects. For some reason setting a wallpaper above 20fps makes effects lag. So they recommended this workaround to avoid it , but in turn my wallpaper is now running at 20 fps which is also a laggy thing..

Thanks for this info. There is already a 30 FPS limit on LED effects for performance reasons, so I guess for some reason this is insufficient in your case, but I wouldn't have expected faster effects to cause any such problems to begin with.

We should be able to turn this into a setting in the plugin options so you could reduce the LED update rate directly.

Could you revert to your previous settings (especially your old FPS limit) and then use a wallpaper where you have this issue and run our scan tool and share the log file it creates with us? That would help us with looking into this issue as we already limit the FPS for Razer and cannot immediately reproduce this problem:

Yes, please send them to [e-mail]. Make sure the issue is visible on your RGB hardware while you run the scan tool.
